- Review the course outline, schedule, assignments, and resources
- Lecture: Expanding your ideas, structuring your work, creating a work plan

- Students present their former work and discuss their intention for their yearlong project
- Workshop: bring work-in-progress proposals

## Week 3

- Students present their former work and discuss their intention for their yearlong project
- Review mid-term requirements
- Open Critique / Individual Meetings / Studio Time

*Proposals are due by midnight via Moodle.*

## Week 4

- Professor and Teaching Assistant show their work
- Field trip: Jinyoung Kim at Dazibao + Geneviève Cadieux at Blouin Division

*Photo department fee receipt due.*

## Week 5

- Lecture on contemporary art that relates and corresponds to the issues, ideas and production methods tailored to students in this class
- Organization of mid-term and end-of-term critiques
- Open Critique / Individual Meetings / Studio Time
- Review affinities presentation expectations

- Affinities presentations (students present the work of other artists with whom they have affinities)
